How to claim a warranty

You must promptly report any failure covered by this Warranty to Leminar.

  • Remove the defective part from the valve.
  • Hand over the defective part to the warranty department at Leminar Air Conditioning Co. LLC.
  • Whenever any part of the valve is claimed to have manufacturing defects, that part has to be re-tested/checked by a Leminar Technician to confirm that it is defective.
  • Furnish the valve model no, valve serial no, defective part model no, defective part serial no, invoice copy or Warranty certificate copy while claiming the materials under warranty.
  • In case the model or serial number of the unit or part does not match our records, the claim will be rejected. After thorough verification of documents and depending on the availability of parts, Leminar Air Conditioning Co LLC will issue the repaired, new or equivalent part to the client.


The accuracy and performance of the valve will be maintained at all pre-set values and at various differential pressures as per BSRIA test report.

The above is valid only if the following has been taken care of by the installer/operator.

  • Installation and commissioning shall be as per the manufacturer’s recommendations as mentioned in the installation manual provided. The inlet and outlet connections including the distance shall be as per IOM.
  • Flushing of the chilled water shall be done via the bypass line until the desired chilled water quality is attained.
  • Back flushing through the coil and valve, shall be carried out after the recommended level of chilled water quality is attained and the valves shall remain completely open (preset 4) during this procedure.
  • Chilled water quality as per VDI 2035 shall be maintained throughout the period of operation of the valves with the help of a chemical dosing system and periodic maintenance of the chilled water quality.


  • Failure of product due to alterations, modifications, misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper storage, maintenance, or installation, use of parts not supplied by Leminar, failure to operate and use the product in accordance with the instructions provided in the Operation and Maintenance Manual supplied with the product or failure to otherwise meet manufacturer’s specifications, or if the serial number has been removed.
  • Damages, malfunctions or failures caused by misuse accident, contaminated or corrosive atmosphere, vandalism, freight
  • Damage, fire, flood, freeze, lightning, acts of war, acts of God and the like.
  • Covered Equipment which is not installed in the United Arab Emirates;
  • Covered Equipment which is not installed by a qualified, trained HVAC professional in accordance with applicable codes, ordinances and good trade practices; or
  • Damages, malfunctions, or failures caused by the use of any attachment, Accessory or component not authorized by Leminar;
  • Covered Equipment moved from the original installation location;
  • Covered Equipment when operated with system components or accessories which do not match or meet the specifications recommended by Leminar.
  • Labour charges for diagnosing, repairing, removing, installing, shipping and servicing. Any such above activities carried out by Leminar Air Conditioning Co. LLC will be charged extra.
  • If defective due to improper/abnormal operating practices like, the improper incoming voltage, wrong electrical connection, running the unit at high temperature etc.
  • Testing and commissioning, Air balancing will no be in Leminar’s scope of work.
  • Consumables, and wear and tear items are not included in the warranty.

Exclusive warranty - Limitation of liability

This Warranty is the ONLY warranty given by Leminar. Leminar’s sole and exclusive liability and Client’s sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be, at Leminar’s option, to repair or replace, to the extent available, any such defective parts. The warranty set forth above is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Leminar shall not be liable for any loss, damages, or penalty resulting from failure to perform any of its obligations under this Warranty due to force majeure or any cause beyond its reasonable control. Leminar’s liability under or for breach of this warranty shall not exceed the refund of the purchase price less reasonable rental for past use. In no event shall leminar be liable for costs of procurement of substitute goods by the client or for unauthorized repairs undertaken by the client without leminar’s written approval. In no event shall leminar be liable for any special, consequential or incidental damages, however caused, whether for breach of warranty, negligence, or otherwise. Leminar disclaims any obligation or liability for loss of use of the product warranted, loss of time, inconvenience, rental or substitute products, loss of business, loss of income, commercial loss or any other direct, consequential, special or incidental damages. Under no event / circumstances will leminar air conditioning co. Llc be liable to change the entire equipment under warranty.
